WINE EXPERIENCE
Our signature wine tour. It is divided into two parts: a tour of the winery and a tasting of six of our most remarkable wines.

By visiting the cellars at the winery, you can learn how much attention to detail is required throughout the winemaking process; explore the cellar where our wine experts will explain you the incredible world of wine.

Finally we will serve you six of our wines, which are sampled together with a fine selection of Tuscan cheeses, fresh bread, our homemade extra virgin olive oil and honey.

Through our different wine tours and tailored tastings we propose you a way of exploring Tuscany at its most beauty.
Enjoy a visit to the stunning Capanna vineyard and a tasting of our finest wines: ranging from a barrel tasting to Tuscan cheese pairing and even a vertical tasting of old and rare vintages.

PRIVATE CHEESE & WINE PAIRING
Your visit to Castiglion del Bosco can be enhanced by an exclusive opportunity to discover the art of food pairing. Enjoy a guided tasting of six of our wines, including the very limited Vin Santo, paired with a selection of six Italian cheeses, such as aged Tuscan Pecorino cheeses, blue cheese and fresh cheese.

Join us in the most exciting activity we offer at our winery. The wine educator will take you through this beautiful experience, teaching you more about wine & food pairing and how they enhance eachother’s flavour.

This activity also includes a private tour of the wine cellars of Castiglion del Bosco.

HARVEST EXPERIENCE

Join us at Castiglion del Bosco to experience the magic of the harvest period!

A time of celebration for everyone, no matter the age, harvest is eagerly anticipated throughout Montalcino. During this time, an air of excitement fills every corner of the town.

With the harvest kit in your hands, we will begin in the vineyard where you will be immersed in the world of Tuscan viticulture, finding out more about our unique territory, and experiencing the meticulous attention that goes into our harvest.

We will then take you through the grape selection process, and explore the cellar where the real magic happens – visiting both the fermentation and ageing rooms.

Finally, one of our wine experts will take you through six Castiglion del Bosco wines, including our Brunello di Montalcino. You will also enjoy a charcuterie board of local cheeses, home-grown cured meat, Castiglion del Bosco olive oil, and fresh bread.

Every day is possible to land on our heliport just a few steps away from the winery, where we will be welcoming you. The area is fully equipped and safe for landing. You will have the unique chance to fly over the breathtaking landscapes of Val d’Orcia. Finally enjoy our wines after a visit to the cellars, including our stunning Members’ Cellar.

We, at Castiglion del Bosco Winery Team, together with Michelin starred restaurant Il Silene and winery Podere Le Ripi all shared the same feeling that something was missing in Montalcino. Something that could connect the beauty of our land with the unique products that it offers. Hence, we decided to take matters into our hands and planned something new and unheard of in this area, which could not be missing: a Helicopter tour, designed to introduce you to some the most renowned Tuscan excellence such as Brunello di Montalcino while enjoying the stunning views of the Val d’Orcia. All you have to worry about is to have fun!
